Examining history and the contermporaneity of the local agricultural landscape, we recorded, in various ways, the traces of color present in the abandoned farmhouses and in the Tuscan countryside.
We documented the worn pathways, the landscape, the passage of man and time, the multitude of materials, the variation of color inside and outside the houses, paying particular attention to the physical aspects of the places and the chromatic-sensorial experience of the countryside.
All the material was later processed and organised into a succession of colors, a chromatic
experience which attempts to narrate the tragic aspect of the inevitable changes which took place here, the consequent abandonment of the living places and way of life. Our objective was
to restore a temporal dimension and a social memory of this territory which otherwise would be completely lost.
