PROJECT ELLERO
 Information on the studio
Studio Aphorisma, directed by the artist Nicola Sansò and by the textile designer Anna Silberschmidt, specializes in research, design and professional consulting with particular emphasis on textile design activities and contemporary artistic creation. By combining technical know-how with artistic and creative experience, Studio Aphorisma is substantially able to transform any idea into a practical result. In 1999 Studio Aphorisma was chosen by the Bauhaus Universität-Weimar to reconstruct the colors and techniques of some of the Bauhaus fabrics as part of the of the project to reconstruct Walter Gropius' study.
Our project
The Studio Aphorisma Study Centre has become over time a point of reference where people from all over Europe and with different backgrounds in textile and artistic creation can exchange their cultural experiences. For a few weeks each year, our centre opens its doors to anyone who wishes to learn weaving techniques and artistic related topics.
The aim of this activity is to create a communication platform that enables participants to exchange information, practical experiences and ideas by combining traditional artistic-artisan experience and knowledge with modern know-how, tools, techniques and technology.
